ImberCorvus Blog is the collected thoughts of me Thomas Riley Sheridan Burns aka Stormcrow.
I was born in Newcastle, Australia in nineteen eighty seven and cut my teeth on roleplaying games with Dungeons & Dragons in nineteen ninety nine. I have been continually writing and game mastering Dungeons & Dragons since that time and have followed that game through two edition changes so far.
I have also had the pleasure of playing in organised games of Shadowrun, Serenity, GURPS and a little World of Darkness.
I work as a Field Service Engineer for Helwett-Packard Australia and when I am not working I enjoy a diverse range of hobbies.
I enjoy writing fiction, music, prose and material for roleplaying games. I am a bass-baritone vocalist and have trained for many years at the Australian Institute of Celtic Studies primarily studying traditional music of the british isles. I have a keen interest in history and particularly the Dark Ages period of Scandinavian Viking culture this interest has lead me to the religious practice of Asatru and to participation in local Dark Ages reneactment and combat groups. I am also the Technical Director of Circus Avalon, Newcastle’s performing community Circus.
